Patrick is an adjunct faculty member teaching graduate and undergraduate HR courses at DeVry University / Keller Graduate School in Tampa, FL. He is a guest speaker at businesses, colleges, high schools, community groups, and on TV and radio shows.

Pat spent a combined 11 years with the #1 and #2 worldwide career management firms in senior operations management and senior organizational and career consulting roles in New York State, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. His previous HR experience included 10 years of manufacturing. Previously in his HR career, Pat served as the #2 HR manager for a nearly 4,000-employee, multi-site, multi-state manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution company. He also served as the HR Director for a two-site manufacturing and distribution operation with 145 non-union employees.

As a journalist, Pat has been a contributing writer and editor for Management Development, Business Development, Career Transition, Change Management, and self-employment manuals, a newspaper reporter and columnist for daily and weekly newspapers, and a free-lance writer for trade journals. He also served for four years in the U.S. Air Force.

A master's degree graduate in Human Resources from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, Pat has also earned undergraduate degrees in English/Speech Communications from Binghamton (NY) University and Journalism from the State University of New York at Morrisville.

Firmly believing in giving back to the community, since 1982, Pat has volunteered extensively. Most recently Pat served on two Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce committees and is actively involved in the Society for Human Resource Management. Volunteer board and committee terms include three years on HRTampa, and six years each on the Binghamton (NY) YMCA and United Way. Also, Pat was actively involved in Chamber of Commerce’s and State Employment Divisions in New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina and volunteered as a consultant for small businesses with local Chamber of Commerce’s. He also coached girls' soccer and baseball. Pat and Angela, his wife, reside in Tampa, Florida.
